Will my plant ship in the Fall or Spring?

At Raintree, we ship plants seasonally to ensure they arrive healthy and ready to thrive. Whether your order ships in Spring or Fall depends on the type of plant and your location.

Spring Shipping

• Bareroot plants ship only in Spring, following our seasonal shipping calendar.
• If your order includes bareroot plants, the entire order will default to Spring shipping.

Fall Shipping

• Select potted plants may be eligible for Fall shipping, as noted on each product page.
• Fall shipping typically runs from mid‑September through early November.
• During this season, we prioritize shipping container plants to cooler regions first, then to warmer areas as temperatures drop.
• Please note: bareroot plants do not ship in Fall.

Split Orders

We are not able to offer split shipments. If you’d like to receive Fall‑eligible items in the Fall and Spring‑only items in the Spring, please place separate orders for each season. This ensures your plants are shipped at the right time for their health and success.

Year‑Round Items

Books & Supplies are available to ship year-round depending on stock quantities. Weather permitting.

Carriers

• Most orders ship via UPS Ground.
• Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico ship via USPS.
